Ramsey Goshert is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Virginia Beach who works with adults and couples with special focus on men and military families. He has specialized training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an solution and action based therapy shown to be highly effective addressing stress, depression, anxiety, and relationship distress.

I want to be in your corner as you work to act more like the person you want to be. I work with individuals interested in building skills in the areas of relationships, communication, parenting, anger control, and problem behaviors. If you are feeling stressed, burned out, overworked, on edge, stuck by anxiety or depression: you are not alone. Overcome life obstacles in ways that build on your current strengths and focus on taking action.

After graduating with his BA in Biblical Studies from Toccoa Falls College and his Masters in Counseling from Regent University, he gained experience in a wide variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric, school-based counseling, substance abuse treatment, adult mental health support, and programs for military children/families.

I currently accept Anthem BCBS, Optima, Tricare, Aetna, Optum/United Healthcare, and Lyra.
I offer affordable self-pay rates if you aren't interested in utilizing your insurance.
Established clients may have the opportunity to utilize video-based sessions depending on treatment needs and insurance reimbursement.
A link will be sent with the initial reminder email/text as well as again 10 minutes before the session start.
