An engaged and supportive partner, she creates a safe space for clients to access their innate wisdom and move toward positive life choices. In people's inherent goodness and creativity; capacity for resilience, knowledge of what works for them, ability to access resources, and connection to community systems such as family, work, neighborhood, friends, schools, and places of worship.
That life is full of opportunities, full of joy and pain, unpredictable, and fully-connected. In her many years as a therapist, Lori has had the privilege of walking side by side with clients as a companion, a light-holder, a guide, or a coach, often turning to creative tools as a way to gain greater understanding and support the path of change. Lori is also a visual artist and director of a local non-profit arts organization serving youth in our community.
Since the beginning as a psychotherapist in 1979, I've treated hundreds of individuals, couples, and families.
