Therapy is an intense and amazing experience. Whether you have struggled with an eating disorder, addiction, depression, anxiety or are just going through a hard time in you life, you can find your way through with the help of an experienced therapist. Finding connection with another person is how the repair process starts. In my practice I offer a safe and comfortable space along with a warm and empathetic approach to therapy, as well as specialized training and experience.
Connecting with your therapist as a fellow human being is important and I seek to offer not just my expertise, but also myself as a fellow person. Regain the connection with your body and your relationship with food that has become lost from struggling with an eating disorder, disordered eating, repetitive dieting or continual attempts at weight loss.
Learn to listen to your body and understand what it really needs. Enhance your body image! Learn to appreciate your body and see it as a part of you; not something to be scrutinized, disparaged, or loathed.

After I graduated with my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Michigan State University, I headed back to the much-loved sunshine in South Florida, where I grew up.
My first job was at The Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, Florida - one of the top eating disorder treatment programs in the country.
While working there, I completed a Doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University.
After seven years at The Renfrew Center, I transitioned to a job at the Oliver-Pyatt Centers in Miami, Florida, where I worked for five more years and earned the prestigious Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credentials.

Telehealth refers to the use of video conferencing for the purpose of providing healthcare services.
This method of providing therapy has been around for many years and has been increasing in popularity in the recent past.
Telehealth allows clients to be seen outside of the office, allowing increased access to therapy and health services for those who are not able get into an office or perhaps have other time or access constraints that would otherwise prevent them from being able to see a clinician.
