My Private College Counselor

Being brave when starting new adventures has always been my approach in life. I don't take unnecessary risks -- you won't see me jump out of a plane, ever! But I will jump on opportunities like moving overseas for a couple of years or starting my own business. I realize that being brave and open to new possibilities has allowed me to approach life with an openness to change.

I love learning and evolving in my thought process and I seek experiences that help me grow, from writing books and traveling to learning to paint and researching. My name is Munira (moo-nee-ra) and I'm a professional counselor who loves helping students apply to college and gain the self-awareness necessary to prepare for life after high school.

Working as a college counselor I feel honored to listen to the hopes and dreams of high school students and I love that each student teaches me something about life through their lived experience.Attending UCLA was pivotal to my growth as a young adult and I strongly believe that education is the door to personal growth, career fulfillment, and financial success.
