The Saturday Center has a dual mission. It provides the highest quality psychotherapy to the community at affordable fees and in a private practice setting. And it provides a unique training program for students of psychotherapy in which they learn to recognize and understand the critical role of their own character structures in the essential therapeutic relationships with their clients.
Services
The Saturday Center for Psychotherapy has been serving the mental health needs of the community for over 30 years.
Founded by Drs.
Judith Davenport, Judith Sherven, and Judith Swerling, The Saturday Center filled a need in the mental health community of not only providing quality psychotherapy to persons of modest means, but also to provide advanced training that focused on the therapist as an instrument of change.
They wanted new therapists to understand that quality work involves both thinking and feeling.
