Healing is a journey of discovery. Let it begin at Kilgore. For more than three decades, the Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center has been nurturing the healing process for both individuals and families. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we provide counseling services to all members of the community regardless of their ability to pay.

Kilgore Samaritan is a faith-sensitive, non-profit counseling center that understands the importance of the relationship between a person's spiritual growth and their emotional and physical well-being.Our compassionate staff has both theological and counseling training that helps us to express the love and grace of God through a ministry of pastoral counseling that is respectful of all religions and the faith of our clients.

However, our mission is to serve all those in need even if they are not faith driven or spiritually oriented. Our staff leverages their behavioral science experience, knowledge and understanding to help both individuals and families plot a course to improve your quality of life.
Services
Listening, caring and counseling have always been part of the process used by churches and synagogues to extend God's love to those with emotional, spiritual or relational needs.
It often initiates the healing process.
Many in our society prefer counseling where their values and faith traditions are respected and can be a vital part of their recovery.
Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center was established with such people in mind.
The original idea for a counseling ministry resulted from the vision of Betty Kilgore Gibbs who realized the value of the significant help she had received through pastoral counseling at Second Presbyterian Church.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we are able to provide a wide range of counseling services to all members of the community, regardless of your ability to pay.
The Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center, Inc. has been accredited by The Solihten Institute since 1986.
Solihten is a national accreditation body that provides affiliated centers with educational events, training, leadership development, new program development, national representation, research, administrative and financial consultation, as well as management resources.
Talking with the compassionate counseling team at Kilgore is often the catalyst that sets the healing process in motion.
For more than 30 years, the Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center has been meeting people where they are to help the process of healing the mind, body and spirit of individuals and families.
Our mission is to meet the emotional and mental health needs of those in our community who need help.
