Life sometimes gets complicated. We often find that events from our past surface and influence our present and future. Fears or phobias may haunt us while addictions take control of our lives. Performance anxiety or stress can make the simplest of tasks difficult. Blocks experienced while seeking help through traditional therapy may seem to be at an impasse.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) can diminish these issues and dissolve those blocks so that your life can move forward. EMDR is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches.
To date, EMDR therapy has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress. At EMDR Counseling Palm Beach, we believe that these issues should not govern you. Strengthening your self perception and improving your view of life are at the heart of EMDR and are the cornerstones of our practice.
