For the past 20 years I have worked to provide a compassionate and therapeutic setting so that each person that enters my office can achieve a healthy balance, more meaningful relationships, better communication and much more. I consider it a privilege to walk through this journey with you, so that you may achieve a fuller, freer and happier life!
My "Mission" is to provide you with high quality and specialized psychotherapy to bring healing to your life and relationships. Time is of the essence, as you have probably struggled long enough to solve the issues in your life. I work to actively recognize those issues and repetitive patterns so that you can start to be aware of them and change them.
Though you can't change the past, we can work together to better understand it and its impact on your present and future. Relationship counseling is a large part of my practice focusing on helping couples recognize their emotional disconnection and learning to reconnect in a meaningful way. I teach couples to become better listeners and to resolve underlying conflicts.

Formulating a mission statement for your life can be a critical step in reaching your goals.
Accomplish your goals by working together in developing steps that you can start to take right away.
So often we make the mistake of Not identifying our path and destination and wonder why things are not improving in our lives.
People often set financial, academic and career goals, but rarely consider marital, parenting or social support goals.
In our disconnected world, we have become so self sufficient that we have lost our support systems.

In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a personalized approach tailored to meet your needs to help attain the personal growth you're striving for.
I try to offer guidance as we go along and may interrupt in order to make sure you are on the right track.
I offer a compassionate and listening ear, yet will direct the session so that you can stay focused on the areas you would like to change most.
My preferred approach to helping you (theoretical orientation) is to use Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Communications, Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR.

If you have a PPO or POS, I will bill your insurance for you directly then, give you an invoice so that you can follow up for your insurance reimbursement.
Unfortunately, I do not accept HMO's.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay half the cost of the session.

No one else will grieve in exactly the same way you do.
So, when you turn to others for help, don't allow them to tell what you should or should not be feeling.
Talking about your grief will help you heal.
Seek out others who will allow you to talk as much as you want, as often as you want, about your grief.
If at times you don't feel like talking, you also have the right to be silent.
Confusion, disorientation, fear, guilt, and relief are just a few of the emotions you might feel as part of your grief journey.
