Real, significant, life enhancing changes that will bring peace, fulfillment, and meaningfulness to everyday life is possible. I firmly believe that all individuals and couples have the innate capacity to become emotionally whole and mentally healthy. After a typical psychotherapy session, my clients are excited that they have opened new windows into themselves that will lead to positive change in their lives.
It doesn't matter what aspect of yourself with which you are uncomfortable or what kind of difficulty you are having; there is a place in you that can see through this problem, and good therapy will help uncover that inner wisdom. As the client and I begin to form a therapeutic alliance, I can begin to understand and experience the clients personal world and what it is like to live there.
At this point, the client and I can move towards resolution of his or her concerns, and the fulfillment of their dreams and wishes.
