At Innovative Family Therapy, our goal is to be that one person that you feel comforable confiding in. You don't have to feel alone in your struggles. At Innovative Family Therapy in Louisville, KY, we have multiple therapists that are licensed in different areas of counseling.
That way, you and your family can receive help in one building versus traveling to different offices. We look at everything from a family perspective. We assess the situation as it pertains to the dynamic of the entire family instead of just a single person. We even allow multiple counselors to work with a single family. For some, sitting in a therapist's office might make them uncomfortable.
That's why we offer teletherapy so our clients can have the option of in-person or video sessions - whatever makes them feel at ease. Sometimes when you call a therapist's office, you get put on a waitlist to see someone.

Innovative Family Therapy started as an individual therapist in a private practice with the goal of one day growing into the group practice we are today.
In addition to providing our clients support and guidance, we give them actionable tools and exercises to rise up and declare a victory over their mental health struggles.
Since most of our therapists are trained in Marriage & Family counseling, we are able to look at the struggles the individual faces as it relates to the entire family system.

For those 18 and over, you will meet with a therapist in one-on-one therapy sessions to get support and guidance while working through personal issues.
Available for any type of couple who might need support and guidance through current issues; such as communication, boundary setting, intimacy, etc.
Marital & premarital counseling is offered for couples who are contemplating marriage or a long term commitment who are given tools to help them throughout their relationship.
Divorce counseling is designed for parents prior and after divorce to assist in developing the best co-parenting practices as well as how to present the divorce to others.
Available for any type of couple who might need support and guidance through current issues; such as communication, boundary setting, intimacy, etc.

After the initial session our sessions are 50 to 60 minutes and follow this pricing scale.
We are private pay only so we do not accept insurance.
We do accept some health savings account cards and can provide superbill for out of network reimbursement for services.
