The Counseling and Diagnostic Center of Woodfield, Ltd. (CDCW) is an outpatient psychotherapy practice dedicated to improving the behavioral health and social-emotional lives of its clients. The experienced and dedicated clinicians provide a wide range of therapeutic and diagnostic services to meet the needs of our clients. CDCW provides services for clients of all ages.
In addition, many of the clinicians have specialized training and experience working with specific age groups, such as children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics. With our background, training and experience, clinicians at CDCW provide empirically supported treatment for clients who require only brief interventions, as well as a continuum of treatment aimed at stabilizing higher acuity clients.
Many high acuity clients are at risk for hospitalization or have recently been discharged from a higher level of care. Our commitment to this population is to offer a wide range of personalized services to assist in continued care and to avoid more restrictive levels of care, such as an inpatient hospital program.

CDCW offers highly specialized psychological, educational, and neuropsychological testing evaluations.
The first session in the treatment of your child is an assessment session.
The goal of the session is to get a complete description of your concerns regarding your child, some background information that includes a family history, and questions regarding other behaviors.
