Life is rarely easy. Sometimes, even the strongest among us need a little help to work through life's challenges. We all have our own battles to fight and hurdles to overcome, and there's nothing wrong with getting a bit of help. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, substance use, workplace stress, or a troubled relationship, quality counseling can provide much-needed support.

By visiting this website, you've taken the first step toward healing, empowerment, and growth. Please explore this site to learn more about who I am and who I help. You can also learn how to connect with me from the privacy and convenience of your home or office with my online therapy option. I fell in love with counseling as a profession during my work at a juvenile prison.

Once I decided to become a licensed counselor, I wouldn't let anything get in my way. Surviving as a single mom while pursuing my professional goals wasn't easy, but my experiences have taught me that anything is possible with hard work and the right support.

Do you often feel afraid, anxious, or panicked?
You may be wondering how to deal with relationship anxiety or how to cope with workplace stress.
A new pregnancy, divorce, family illness, or another major life change may also be causing problems.
Is your anxiety causing concentration problems, bad digestion, sweating, shaking, chest pains, or other symptoms?
The quality of your sleep or diet may also have deteriorated.
As a result, you might have noticed your health starting to worsen, especially if you've been turning to food, alcohol, or other substances to try to cope.
No matter how hard you work, do you feel like it's never enough?
Maybe you can't shake the feeling that you're underqualified, even if you've received positive feedback.
If your self-esteem is very low, you may sometimes feel like an imposter.
To avoid being found out, you may be working long hours and striving for perfection.
Are you reluctant to assert yourself for fear of rocking the boat?
When you see opportunities for personal advancement or organizational improvement, self-doubt may prevent you from speaking up.
If you're single, comparing yourself to other people who are happily married with kids may be a source of frustration.
If you're in a relationship, frequent fights or other problems may make you feel like something's missing.
Are you tired of trying to keep your relationship afloat?
Your partner's neglect or disregard of your needs may make you question their devotion.
Resentment may also build anytime your partner fails to contribute as much as you do.
At the same time, you may feel responsible for your spouse or partner's well-being, especially if they're struggling with addiction or mental health issues.
As a commercial driver's license (CDL) holder, did you fail a random, pre-employment, or post-accident drug test?
Perhaps you're a truck, train, or taxi driver who tested positive for alcohol, marijuana, or another substance.
Did you violate Department of Transportation (DOT) drug policy while working as a pilot, flight attendant, pipeline construction worker, or emergency response personnel?
If you are in a "safety-sensitive" position as defined by the U.S. government, your employer may have told you that you need to complete an assessment before coming back to work.
