Visiting Counselors LLC has been in operation since 2013, providing mental health services for persons in their homes. We are a group of clinical social workers who specialize in gerontology and rehabilitation counseling. Our work focuses on people who have difficulty leaving their home due to chronic illness or disability, although this is not a requirement to receive services.
Our work is covered by Medicare, BCBS and other insurances, as well as private pay. We all know that life can be hard, and complications due to aging, disability, or illness can bring more stress. Many people struggle with problems such as loneliness, loss of friends or family, sadness, worries, or family conflicts. Sometimes caring for someone going through life transitions is also stressful.
Counseling provides support and an objective listener to help sort out life problems. Visiting Counselors are licensed and experienced social workers who are dedicated to helping elders or persons with disabilities improve their quality of life.
