When I started college I was an accounting major.
However, that quickly changed once I took introduction to psychology.
I found the information to be very intriguing and before I knew it, I was hooked.
I began to enjoy analyzing thoughts and behaviors, along with helping people problem solve through difficult times.

During the course of the 20 years that I have been in the mental health field, I have had a diverse range of experiences working at an adolescent residential facility, non-for-profit agency, private practice, and online counseling.

If you have health insurance, it is important for you to verify your mental health benefits so you understand your coverage prior to your appointment.
Payment of fees, including any required co-pays, is expected at the time of each appointment.
If you are using insurance benefits, the office will file insurance claims for you, and will honor any contractual agreements with managed health care companies that have specific reimbursement restrictions and claim requirements.
