Since 2007, I have offered effective outpatient, individualized, psychological counseling. I treat a multitude of behavioral health issues with an eclectic blend of trauma informed cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, mindfulness and insight based therapy. I strive to create a space where clients feel both supported and challenged. Adverse life experiences alter our neural pathways and prevent our brains from working optimally.
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive treatment that reads the electrical impulses of the brain, provides information in the form of feedback, and the brain uses the information to make the changes it desires. Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and/or neurofeedback, we are able to help you make sustainable changes to cope more successfully.
Overwhelming stress can lead to frustration, ruminating thoughts, physical pain, and overall discontentment. This often causes people to disengage, feel less present, and experience tension in their relationships.
