Most of the reasons that people have for not beginning their counseling have to do with their immediate, here-and-now, circumstances. Sadly not addressing the issues that you deal with in the here and now has a way of making life more difficult as the days, months and years go by. There is no shame in going to counseling. Even if you believe you are emotionally healthy, another person's objective perspective can help improve the way you feel about life and your relationships.

I care about you, your family, and your story. You can trust that I will treat you with respect, dignity and compassion in every interaction, while maintaining the highest standards for integrity and ethics. I graduated from Harding University in Searcy, AR in 2003 with a BA in Preaching. While there, I met my wife Krista and we married in 2002.

In 2004 I began my graduate work at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX where I graduated in 2006 with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and in 2008 with a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry.

In 2004 I began my graduate work at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX where I graduated in 2006 with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and in 2008 with a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry.
Before entering ministry full-time, I served as the Clinical Director for a foster agency, Hope for Tomorrow.
I served as a children's minister in both Texas and Tennessee.
I have completed the Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
This method of couples therapy utilizes a research-based approach to addressing the common issues that plague relationships.
Although my primary niche is with couples, I offer a variety of services for individuals, couples, families and adolescents.
All things can be improved, changed and bettered, with just a little support, no matter how big or small.
With couples therapy, you'll learn how to communicate your feelings and needs, and get what you want out of your relationship.
In my couple's therapy sessions, I help people develop the necessary skills needed to maintain sustaining love.
If any of the above relate to your and your partner in your relationship, contact me today for a free consultation.
I would love to speak about how I may be able to help reconnect and rekindle your love for one another.
Our family affects who we are and who we become, both for the better and for worse.
We learn our vocabulary, our habits, our customs and rituals, and how to view and observe the world around us.
Family therapy is necessary to address family issues and heal a family's wounds.
If any of the above scenarios resonates with your family, consider seeking family therapy.
Family therapy can be beneficial on many different levels.
Studies show that family therapy is particularly important for families with members who struggle with substance abuse, eating disorders and other behavioral issues.
Could you use an expert opinion on what you're going through, or a non-judgemental ear just to listen?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then individual therapy could be the solution you've been seeking.
Individual therapy differs from group or alternative therapy methods in the way that you are the sole focus of a single therapist who helps you develop and achieve your goals for therapy.
If you've been feeling hopeless or lost lately, or struggling with a problem in your life that feels unsurmountable, individual therapy could help you improve your everyday life.
