She graduated from Susquehanna University with a B.A. in Psychology, and then Millersville University with her M.S. in Psychology.
After schooling, Jennifer worked in the areas of child welfare, juvenile justice, program development and research for addiction treatment, and mental health case management.
She has developed and directed two treatment programs; a Group Home for adolescent girls, and a day treatment center for women and men with eating disorders.
