I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) registered in the state of Massachusetts. I have a M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine, as well as a M.P.H. with a concentration in Health Management from Drexel University. My practice is informed by a strong pre-medical background, a belief in the holistic mind-body connection and power of creativity, and more than a decade of clinical exposure in both medical and psychiatric settings.

It is my passion to collaborate with adults of all ages, regardless of racial identity, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or other history or life experience. My approach is cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. I believe everyone needs help sometimes, and everyone deserves help and understanding always.

Are you hoping to better manage your mood or anxiety? Do you live with chronic health conditions or simply want to change some of your health habits?
Services
I have been serving clients with a mental health focus since 2013, a public health focus since 2010, and a medical focus since the 1990s.
Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California, Irvine.
My practice is informed by my education as well as more than a decade of clinical exposure in both medical and psychiatric settings.
I founded this practice in 2017 with the aim of working with clients on a genuinely personal level.
I typically check email several times on weekdays, up to and through mid-afternoon.
While I usually respond within 48 hours, please allow up to 72 hours on weekends and holidays.
In fact I created a Teletherapy Hub just for you, with lots of information about how to access my phone and video platforms, how I keep our communications secure, and other client-specific considerations you may want to explore before committing to virtual appointments.
Before we commit to working together, I require all prospective clients to schedule a complimentary 10-minute phone consultation to make sure we are a good match.
All testimonials below come from non-clientele including professional colleagues and other industry associates.
Clients, past or present, are NOT encouraged to submit testimonials, and I will never publish client testimonials or comments of any sort.
This is to ensure that any potential client identification, confidentiality, and privacy are secure and protected at all times.
Testimonials and reviews become public information and are not protected under HIPAA guidelines.
Thank you for understanding.
Are you hoping to better manage your mood or anxiety?
Whether you have been clinically diagnosed with a mood or anxiety "disorder, " simply struggle with sadness during the change in seasons, or get a bad case of the nerves during family gatherings at holidays, I want you to know that what you are experiencing is valid, happens more common than you think, and may even be called "normal."
Whatever the case, I will work with you in an open and empathetic way to build coping skills, self-actualize, and attain your mood and anxiety management health goals.
