Counseling or therapy is an intimate process, a unique and cooperative effort. The decision to enter therapy/counseling is an investment in your future. It is important work that often changes the course of a relationship and/or a person's life. With twenty years of experience in the field counseling individual adults, adolescents and couples, I bring expertise in a variety of areas and truly love the work that I do.

Depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems are very common. We all experience times when we feel stuck, alone, overwhelmed, preoccupied, or at a crossroad in our lives. Giving yourself the opportunity to talk openly -- with a neutral, non-judgmental and experienced professional can help you to move ahead. The counseling process calls for safety, trust and teamwork requiring one-to-one meetings over the course of time to build a therapeutic relationship.

I don't allow managed care and insurance companies to dictate the frequency or time allowed for treatment. That's something for you and me to determine together.
