Services
Rock Landing Psychological Group is a private practice of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Professional Counselors.
We are seasoned professionals providing psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Because we are a large practice, we can usually accommodate a person or a family that requires more than one service.
The therapists at Rock Landing Psychological Group draw from a wide variety of treatment methods and techniques.
For most of us there are times in our lives when we experience anxiety or distress, or feelings of emptiness.
Sometimes such worries are due to current circumstances such as relationship tensions, illness or bereavement.
Current problems can stir up buried feelings about the past.
All too often our unhappiness can have a profound effect on those close to us and on our jobs.
Psychotherapy can help you understand and come to terms with these difficulties.
As licensed therapists, we can meet with you individually (or with you and your partner or family) to provide the insight and support you need during your difficult time, to help you identify the contributing factors to your problems, and to assist you in determining the best course of action to take to help you feel better.
For a better understanding of our therapists' specialties, please refer to our biographies under the Clinical Staff section of the site.
Regardless of the focus of treatment, we offer a variety of treatment formats.
Sessions may include individual, couples, or family therapy, depending upon who is affected by the issue.
The type of therapy chosen will depend on the client's unique needs.
Individual Therapy: Individual therapy involves one-to-one interaction with a trained therapist.
Typically, a client meets with a therapist once a week until the client feels he or she has reached their goals.
For a better understanding of psychologists' and therapists' specialties, please refer to our biographies under the Clinical Staff section of the site.
We offer a variety of treatment formats.
Sessions may include individual therapy with the child, parent sessions, and the family together.
Individual Therapy: We treat all types of behavioral and emotional disorders and difficulties.
We see toddlers through adolescents (up to age 18) in our child and therapy division.
We also provide parent training and family-based therapy.
In order to fully meet the needs of our clients, Rock Landing Psychological Group offers teletherapy services to individuals, couples and families.
At Rock Landing we are committed to offering services that best meet the needs of our clients.
In addition to traditional in office psychotherapy, teletherapy's objectives are the same at its core.
That is to: provide tools, solutions, and ways to reframe your current issues and allowing you to overcome challenges in many areas of your life.
However, teletherapy differs in that it puts therapy in the palm of your hand and enables you to share your thoughts and challenges in a way that bypasses barriers to therapy.
