Christian Counseling of Mansfield was established in August of 2003 with the help of several local pastors, churches, and business leaders with the goal of providing biblical counseling to individuals, marriages, and families. Since that time, CCM has established relationships with many new churches and pastors that have come to our city as it has experienced tremendous growth in these past several years.
Most of our clients are referred to us by their pastor, but we welcome anyone to our office who believes that we can be of help to them individually or otherwise. Christian Counseling of Mansfield counselors are committed to a strictly biblical approach to counseling that flows out of the truths of Scripture.
The basis for our counseling is rooted in 2 Timothy 3:16 which states that all Scripture is inspired by God; it is given for the purpose of teaching (what we need to know about God, self, and others), reproving (showing us where we are falling short), correcting (helping us get it right), and training (giving us specific instruction to implement the teaching) in holy living so that we can be fully equipped.

Dell and his wife Susan have been married since 1981.
They have three married children and are the proud grandparents of seven amazing grandkids.
He and Susan were also involved with Buckner Baptist Homes as foster parents to seven amazing foster children.
Dell Canright received his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in December of 1999.

Christian Counseling of Mansfield falls very closely in line with the philosophy of counseling held to by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC, formerly known as NANC).
One of our foundational principles is that we believe that Scripture is sufficient to equip us to deal with all matters pertaining to life and godliness, and that man's greatest need is to be reconciled to God through the sacrifice that Jesus Christ offered on mankind's behalf when He went to the cross.
We believe this reconciliation involves man's repentance of his sin, and by faith believing that what Christ did on the cross satisfied the payment for sin, which was death.
