Once you start making the effort to "wake yourself up" - that is be more mindful of your daily activities - you suddenly start appreciating your life more. You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them. We are a counseling, and psychotherapy practice centrally located in Carrollton, Georgia. Our team of mental health counselors offer individual counseling for children, adolescents, and adults as well as couples counseling.

In addition, we provide substance abuse and anger evaluations for court ordered individuals. If you or someone you know needs extra help this season, please call 1-800-273-TALK (8255), log on to chat at suicidepreventionlifeline.org, or text 741741.

I spent another 6 in the Georgia Army National Guard while I earned my master's degree in psychology from the University of West Georgia in May of 2016.
My experience continues to reinforce the notion that therapy should be firmly grounded in a deep and careful understanding of your lived experience, and I believe a strong relationship between you and I is an essential element.
I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor that works with adults and adolescents seeking relief from anxiety, depression, feeling stuck, or repeating old patterns that you wish could break.
I also work with those who have experienced sexual assault, abuse, interpersonal violence, or have experienced trauma or vicarious trauma in their work, such as first responders and veterans.

I have developed a passion for working with children and adolescents and utilize play therapy to gain insight into a child's internal world and how they make meaning of their circumstances and experiences.
