Mending Minds Therapy
To offer evidence based treatment to support you in your journey towards healing and recovery. Most individuals experience distress, trauma, and dysregulation at some point in their lifetime. In fact, 1 in 5 individuals experience some form of mental health issue that can be debilitating. I am here to offer support, healing, and recovery. Whether your journey includes the goal to heal from wounds old or new, we can rewire and rebuild as a team.

I have been trained in several therapeutic approaches to meet your needs. These include EMDR, CPT, CBT, DBT, and more. I truly believe that healing begins in the therapeutic relationship. In order to begin healing wounds we first need trust, compassion, and empathy. Together we can begin designing your specific treatment plan goals and discuss what steps you need to take to feel accomplished in these goals.

As a team we will work on building the skills needed to cope, process, and heal.
Services
I received Certification in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and am very excited to offer this service to Missoula.
EMDR is an evidence based practice designed to treat PTSD and other disorders which may keep people stuck in maladaptive thought patterns, traumatic memories, and mental health issues.
CBT is an evidence based treatment for depression, anxiety, and many other struggles.
This model will teach you how to evaluate your thoughts, identify inaccurate beliefs, and change them to promote healing.
I was born and raised in Montana.
I have always been very interested in the helping profession.
I soon found my calling and started college to study Psychology.
While getting my Bachelors in Psychology I worked as a CNA with the elderly and hold a very special place in my heart for this population.
I then moved on to a local Mental Health Center working with individuals with Severe and Disabling Mental Illness.
I then went back to school and obtained my Masters degree in Social Work and completed the practice hours to be licensed as LCSW.
This evaluation is done as the intake appointment in order to be able to determine exactly what you are struggling with and to develop an appropriate and individualized treatment plan.
If you feel you cannot afford these rates please contact me to discuss alternative options.
I currently accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurances.
If I do not accept your specific insurance, I am happy to apply for credentialling with them.
