My practice is focused on helping each of my clients find an understanding of self as well as personal growth. I believe in the freedom and hope associated with each client giving a voice to their story; owning and embracing all the parts to live an authentic life. My desire is to inspire confidence through the therapeutic relationship, and I find it a privilege to enter into the painful parts of life with my clients.

I am passionate about helping my clients rebuild broken relationships which includes supporting boundary setting and building self-confidence, while striving towards holding a humble attitude. I value taking an emotion focused, attachment based, narrative therapy approach in my clinical work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Master's Level Addiction Professional, an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, an Imago trained relationship therapist, as well as an EMDR trained therapist.

My experience with inpatient mental health, department of juvenile justice, residential treatment, trauma intensive treatment, and substance abuse services equips me to provide a comprehensive approach to each client.
Services
In individual counseling, I work collaboratively with those suffering from a variety of different issues, including but not limited to the following: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, addiction, unresolved trauma, the effects of physical, emotional or sexual abuse, codependency, stress related problems, anger management, relationship conflicts, as well as everyday life adjustments.
I am committed to providing a professional, honest, and confidential setting to process the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors associated with your individual situation.
The frequency of therapy sessions varies depending on your particular needs and desires, but we typically meet weekly or bi-weekly for 50 minute sessions.
Initially, it may be difficult to predict the duration of how many sessions will be needed, so we will collaboratively discuss from session to session what the next steps are and how often therapy sessions will occur.
The client reserves the right to request an increase or decrease to frequency at any time.
The client also reserves the right to end treatment at any time, but I request that you communicate this desire directly to me.
Office hours are from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday.
If you need to contact the clinician for any reason please call, leave a voicemail, and a return call will be made within 24 hours or as soon as possible.
If either you or someone else is in danger of being harmed, dial 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
If you need to report abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, please call the Abuse Hotline.
As your therapist, I am bound by law to protect your confidentiality at all costs.
This is crucial to building trust in the therapeutic relationship.
The only limitations to complete confidentiality would be the following: 1) Threats, plans, or attempts to harm oneself, 2) threats, plans or attempts to harm someone else 3) abuse and/or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult.
A therapist is not a medical doctor and therefore cannot prescribe medication.
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of those suffering from mental illness.
