For over 12 years, Life Source Affordable Counseling has been serving adults, children, couples, and families in the Inland Empire by providing individualized counseling options that are affordable and unique.
With day, evening and weekend hours available, Life Source Affordable Counseling is able to conveniently meet your needs. We are committed to helping our clients move past pain and obstacles to discover the possibilities of a life well lived. Counseling options at Life Source Affordable Counseling are provided by master's level trainees and associates under the supervision of Dr. Avis Attaway and Dr. Guy Balice.
At Life Source Training Institute, we employ Trainees and Associates who are working on their Practicum & Licensure hours to become Counselors, Therapists, and Psychologists.

It was founded in 2008 by Dr. Avis Attaway, LMFT.
Dr. Attaway saw the need for more training opportunities for local graduate students in the mental health counseling fields.
In addition, she realized there was a dire need for affordable and accessible counseling services in the Riverside community and surrounding areas.
Through partnerships with California based graduate counseling programs we serve as a practicum site for M.A. and Psy.

Our staff members offer supportive and confidential individual counseling options for a variety of life issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, gender issues, and discovering a more fulfilling life.

Since our founding, our mission has been to reduce barriers to access mental health care services and provide high quality and accessible mental health care services for all individuals within California.
Parallel to this mission, we provide training and practicum placement for Trainee and Associate therapists in California.
We aim to expand access to affordable and flexible mental health services for all Californians.

Each Trainee is supervised by one of our Clinical Supervisors.
All applicants must be in school working towards their License, Master's degree, or a professional degree.
After the below application has been submitted, you will be contacted for a brief interview by our Executive Clinical Director, Dr. Avis Attaway.
We also offer an ten-week unpaid internship for individuals who are currently working towards a BA/BS in Psychology and are interested in pursuing a career in the field of psychology.
Each Trainee is supervised by one of our Clinical Supervisors.
