Horizon Counseling Center, Inc. is a social service agency founded in 2005 by a dedicated professional. It is the aim of Horizon Counseling Center to provide quality and unprecedented services to individuals with physical, emotional, and/or mental disabilities and help people restore their capacity to function socially. The objective of HCC is to provide care and comfort to those who are experiencing physical and/or mental anguish.
Horizon Counseling Center, Inc., HCC, reflects a recovery model. It was founded on The Principles of Normalization in the community and in the family which are two of the most powerful institutions. Normalization is a commitment allowing for the most positive growth and upward development for every human being, including physical and social integration into society.
This is achieved by assisting the individual to combine all the necessary skills needed to live independent and productive lives by utilizing thee community services available to all citizens. The expected outcome for our consumer is for them to remain in the least restrictive and intrusive environment.
