In my private practice, I provide an environment for healing and change. We all have experienced events when we could use professional support. Because you are feeling lonely, doesn't mean you have to be alone. As a Northwestern Memorial Hospital Trained Oncology Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in individual and group therapy. Currently, I am accepting new patients.

You may feel like you are not struggling, but also not succeeding. Together, we can identify these opportunities for change so you can have the best quality of life by making the changes that are right for you. Specializing in both individual and couple therapy through short or long term counseling, we can work together to achieve a better situation.
Services
I worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois from 2004 until 2011.
My skills and enthusiasm were recognized when I received the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Social Worker of the Year award (2009).
During my time at Northwestern, I worked primarily with adults with cancer or who were in hospice care.
Most of my work centered on adjustment to a chronic or terminal illness.
In addition, I do a lot of work with grief/loss and relationship struggles.
My 8 years of experience has provided me with a strong foundation of cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems techniques, and solution focused therapy.
Although I have been fortunate to work with many different clients, here is a list of some my specialties.
This could be adjusting to a new, chronic, or terminal illness.
You may be the person diagnosed or may be the family member or loved one who is impacted by a serious illness.
Most illnesses are family centered and it is challenging for everyone involved.
Regardless of how much you care about each other or how long you have been together, we all have areas that we could use support and improvement.
Our first session will determine if we are a good fit for each other.
A limited phone assessment will be completed initially and then we will schedule our first session, where we can decide if we want to continue therapy together.
Therapy is a tool to help you move forward on your journey so it is very important that you trust me and feel comfortable sharing with me.
If you do not feel that I am the right therapist for you at this time, I am happy to connect you with a local trusted therapist.
