Mindful Equanimity Mental Health Counseling is a private practice that offers service to individuals, families, couples, and groups-We use a holistic approach that contributes to the client's wellbeing. Our work focuses on providing therapeutic techniques that produce quick and effective results for mental wellness. Mindful - practice is based on the therapist/client interactive relationship.

Each is willing to listen openly without judgment related to the fullness of one's life and the other people around us. Through mindful practices, you will increase your ability to regulate your emotions and decrease your anxiety, stress, and depression. Equanimity is being able to remain calm through mental strength and composure, especially under stress.

To be equanimous (self-composed) is to stand in the middle of a conflict or a crisis and remain balanced, grounded, and centered. You will stay strong and stand upright when the powerful winds of crisis, conflict, blame, failure, and pain begin to blow.
Services
Patricia holds degrees in Clinical Psychology and Educational Specialist.
As a psychotherapist, she uses compassionate, nonjudgmental techniques to help clients process life-related issues.
An educational specialist, she understands the learning brain and the science behind mindful education.
Mindfulness is a psychological intervention to address abuse, stress, anxiety, recurrent depression, concentration, and memory problems.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
So take the step and leave the continuity of the past and the undesirable patterns behind.
I decided not to accept insurance because companies will create a psychological profile on your mental health condition.
To get paid for the services, I must diagnose you with a disorder (e.g., depression, anxiety).
I can not simply write the diagnosis that you are grieving the loss of a loved one or that life's problems are getting in the way of how you feel at present.
I must provide a diagnosis that the insurance company considers grave in nature to pay for my services and for you to continue therapy.
