Dr. Mary Minten is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Board Certified Sex Therapist, and Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Therapy for individuals working with mental and emotional health (anxiety, trauma, depression, history of abuse, work/career, grief, end of life, and more). Couple therapy for relationship health including improving conflict, intimacy, and closeness.

Family therapy for any and all members of families to work with conflict, connection, and other family life concerns including developmental changes (pregnancy, infants, toddlers, adolescence, young adults, older adults, parents.) We do not correspond by text. If you provide permission and your email address in your voicemail message to us, we can correspond by email for appointment scheduling and telehealth links.

Our office provides advanced practice and research-based services. Dr Minten stays current with therapy and counseling modalities, relational and family health practices, sexual health, teaching, supervision, and clinical practice research to provide quality programs to clients, professionals, students, interns, and organizations.

Dr. Minten works with this natural process of change - how you think, what you feel, and what will assist you in taking the next steps toward health.
Compassion, empathy, respect, and genuineness are cornerstones Dr. Minten uses to forming connection that will be the platform from which changes can be made.
The process will involve group therapy over 16 hours.
Limit of 4 to 6 couples/group.
The content of the group is based on the work of the Optimal Sexual Experiences Research Team of the University of Ottawa, including elements and facilitating factors of optimal sexual experiences as well as research on group couples therapy.
The groups are part of a research project studying the effectiveness of group therapy in enhancing sexual relationships.
Your participation in the research project (which is optional) consists of completing questionnaires at multiple time points.
We are now offering telehealth visits.
Please check with your insurance to see that they are covered if you plan to use insurance.
