Both are Licensed Professional Counselors in the state of North Carolina and have over 30 years of combined experience in working with primarily children (K-12) and adolescents in a variety of settings including but not limited to: schools, residential settings, group homes, psychiatric inpatient programs, juvenile detention centers and currently in an outpatient counseling office.
Jodie has moved on to other ventures but is still an integral part of the team. Genuine Counseling is to provide all individuals with an opportunity to learn skills that may be used to enhance decision making and improve their quality of life. We are a family oriented establishment because we believe that there is greatness inside of each family.
We believe the combination of our extensive experiences in working with at-risk youth specifically diagnosed with mental health disorders, thorough counseling education and training, and hard work ethic make Genuine Counseling a tremendous resource in helping individuals and families attain their highest potential.
