Counseling Associates of Norwell is a group of independent private practitioners who work together to provide a respectful and confidential environment for clients. Each of the clinicians has been in practice for over twenty years. We provide an array of services for adolescents and adults, ranging from consultations and interventions, to long and short-term psychotherapy.

Dianne has been in private practice for over twenty years providing long and short-term psychotherapy and addiction counseling to adults.
Prior to opening her private practice, Dianne was the Director of Substance Abuse Counseling at Coastal Community Counseling Center in Braintree, MA, Assistant Director of Valle's DUI Program in Quincy, MA, and Clinical Supervisor of Quincy Detoxification Center in Quincy, MA.
Dianne has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Master Addictions Counselor and a Level One Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Karen Wischmayer is an individual and group therapist in private practice since 1989.
She helps adults with a variety of issues.
Some of these include anxiety/depression, marital concerns, relationship and career difficulties and the many life difficulties that affect individuals and families with substance use problems.
Karen leads two psychotherapy groups.
Group therapy provides an optimal setting for people to grow, change and learn about themselves.
These groups are held Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:15pm and Thursday from 11:15am to 12:30pm.

She offers individual, family and group intervention treatment, and works with patients and their families providing assessments and referrals when appropriate.
Sandra was the Coordinator of the Adolescent Dual Diagnosis Program at Westwood Lodge Hospital prior to entering into private practice.
