We are working diligently to be back in the office and resume face to face sessions safely and effectively. Hudson Valley Psychotherapy was founded in 2015 by Kelly Harris, LCSW. In 2021 she welcomed JennaLeigh Iseman, LMHC and Robyn Smith, LCSW, to the administrative team. We are dedicated to continue providing the community with effective evidence-based mental health services.
We work with you to explore your thoughts and feelings and work towards overcoming the challenges you are facing. Our goal is to give you the tools you need to move forward and live your best life. Kelly and her staff are dedicated to helping teens and adults overcome obstacles and reach their goals. We use a variety of evidence-based treatment methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Solution Focused and Psychodynamic therapy.
We are committed to providing treatment that is effective and lasting. Your therapist will work with you to complete an assessment, establish your goals and create a treatment plan to suit your individual needs.

Services
Focuses on exploring relationships among a person's thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
During CBT a therapist will actively work with a person to uncover unhealthy patterns of thought and how they may be causing self-destructive behaviors and beliefs.
By addressing these patterns, the client and therapist can work together to develop constructive ways of thinking that will produce healthier behaviors and beliefs.
Oftentimes someone being treated with CBT will have homework in between sessions where they practice replacing negative thoughts with more realistic thoughts based on prior experiences or record their negative thoughts in a journal.
