An LPC Intern is a clinician who has completed his or her master's level education and a practicum with a minimum of 300 hours working in the field.
After graduation, those seeking licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) are required to work under a supervisor (our site supervisor is Dr. Sunny Lansdale, PhD, LPC-S) for a minimum of 3000 hours.
Until those hours are complete, clinicians work under the title of LPC Intern.
During that time, LPC Interns meet weekly with their supervisor for case consultation and support.
