My name is Laurie Troumbly, MS, LPCC and I have been working in the mental health field since 2002.
Born and raised on Leech Lake Reservation, I am a direct decedent of White Earth Reservation.
My family moved to the Grand Rapids area where I graduated from Greenway High School.
After high school, I attended college locally at Itasca Community College where my interest in Psychology, human behavior and understanding the brain began.
From there, I went on to complete both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Bemidji State University.
