In-office visits are available on Wednesdays and Fridays. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday sessions will be televideo only. I look forward to meeting with you soon! Struggling with a relationship? Do you feel anxious or depressed? Are you lost in an unfulfilling job or marriage, or are you stuck in the grip of addiction? If your mind is constantly preoccupied with thoughts over concerns such as these, then you are suffering!

Even the strongest and most resilient struggle with hurdles that seem to come from nowhere. But your path can be unimpeded and your direction clear. You should know there is hope. Watch the video and see. You might be initially hesitant to seek out help and support for personal matters, but when you do, you are taking a courageous first step towards getting to a better place and being a better you.

I want to help you become better, happier and more fulfilled. Ryan Buchmann has been a licensed marriage and family therapist in California since 2011 and he has been practicing as a pastoral counselor since 2004.
Services
Does life feel like you're running in a wheel, going through the motions of endless day-to-day toil that inevitably ends in death?
But most importantly, are you finally ready for change?.
If this is where you feel you are right now, then you've come to the right place.
In our work together, my goal as your therapist is to help you reduce suffering.
Ideally, I would like you to be able to attain fulfillment, peace, and life in all its fullness.
We call this true salvation.
It is to be who You are, to feel within you the good that has no opposite, the joy of Being that comes from within and depends on nothing outside itself.
I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to spiritual growth and beyond.
In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients' individual needs to help attain the personal growth they're striving for.
Responsible for providing individual, couple and family counseling services to low-income and/or uninsured clients.
Provided individual, couples, and family counseling services to US Marine Corps members and their dependents using brief strategic, solution focused and emotion-focused therapy techniques.
Also provided risk assessment and case management services to Marines referred for suicidal ideations or attempts while on active duty.
Supported the mental health of Marines to ensure mission-readiness.
The theory starts with the assumption that events happen in our lives that we interpret as bad, painful, or the cause of our suffering.
Abuse, trauma, physical and mental illness, natural disaster, and war all result with human suffering.
Even if there was world peace, the end of hunger, climatic stability, and a cure for every disease, events will still occur that will cause us pain and, although it may be hard to imagine, those who appear to have successful lives will also struggle.
Why?
If there is no struggle, there is no personal or spiritual growth.
If you plan to use a desktop or laptop, there is nothing to download prior to your appointment.
Note: If you have already consented to receiving text and/or email reminders, you will continue to receive them for Telehealth appointments as well.
For new clients, make sure you have provided your email and or mobile phone number so that I can enable email or text reminders.
If you aren't sure if I have your email address, please call me, 760-566-8760.
I'm probably waiting for you.
