Whether this is your first time seeking therapy and counseling services or not, I want to support you in your journey toward health and wholeness. Brene Brown states, "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do." I hope to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space while exploring areas of hurt, loss, identity formation, and relationship issues.

I am passionate about those in life transitions, grief, loss, couples, families and blended families. I believe that sometimes we need someone else to hold hope for us until we can hold it for ourselves again. I am currently a registered Intern working toward licensure as both a Marriage & Family Therapist and am under the supervision of Shelley Hanson, LMFT, LPC.

I adhere to the Code of Ethics established by the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, American Counseling Association, and the Oregon Board of Counselors and Therapists.
Services
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University in Portland, OR.
I enjoy helping individuals and couples find healthier ways to connect both physically and emotionally, and working with families from a systems and attachment perspective.
Other areas I am passionate about include couples who are remarried, blended families, those with an invisible or chronic illness, disabilities, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem and identity issues as well as grief and loss.
Sometimes the hidden worry is, "What if the counselor tells us we shouldn't get married?"
I want to help reassure you that when I work with couples, it is not to decide whether a couple should get married or not.
It is to help develop life-long healthy communication strategies.
Research states that, "Communication has a fundamental role in marital life and lack of effective communication is a common complaint of married couples attending counseling and treatment centers" (Parhizgar, Esmaelzadeh-Saeieh, Akbari Kamrani, Rahmzadeh & Tehranizadeh, 2017, p. 1).
