From acute psychiatric care to private practice, I have worked in a variety of mental health roles.
Each of these experiences has shaped me to be the clinician I am today.
One of the most important pieces of education I received from each of these roles was expertise in Trauma-Informed Care.
When working with patients with anxiety, depression, and ADHD, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Choice Theory.
Both these therapeutic techniques help patients focus on how their thoughts and feelings control their behaviors.
