The mission of FamilyTime is to provide services and programs to encourage the mental health and wellness of the community as well as promote safety and support for the prevention of domestic and sexual violence. We thank you for your understanding and for supporting FamilyTime! Donation schedule will remain as is at the Thrift Store location. FamilyTime offers comprehensive individual and family counseling, providing a safe and confidential environment.

FamilyTime's shelter (The Door) is a place for temporary safe housing as well as the start of the healing process for survivors. FamilyTime provides case management services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Case managers organize and coordinate your services. FamilyTime works with local hospitals to provides 24-hour victim/survivor accompaniment services to survivors of sexual assault.

FamilyTime's legal advocates can provide assistance and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as they engage with the criminal or civil legal system.
Services
Counseling sessions provide a safe and confidential environment for survivors to express their feelings, thoughts, and fears.
Counselors utilize nonjudgmental techniques as they listen and help survivors work through issues they may be experiencing.
FamilyTime employs a trauma informed approach to aid clients in the healing process.
Support groups are also offered for various subject matters.

The shelter can be an extremely powerful tool for empowering residents.
The Door houses up to 38 survivors (men and women) of family violence and sexual assault and their children in a safe and nurturing environment.
The shelter residents receive meals and childcare, as well as counseling, guidance, and other needed services in preparation for transition to a more permanent and stable environment.
FamilyTime provides case management services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Case managers organize and coordinate a network of formal and informal activities, services, and supports designed to optimize the well-being of each client.
Throughout the case management process, case managers act with consideration for the individual's cultural beliefs, interests, wishes, needs, and values.
Case managers are responsible for helping clients and their support systems evaluate and understand their options, determine what is best to meet their needs, and institute action to achieve their goals and meet their interests and expectations.
FamilyTime's legal advocates can provide assistance and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as they engage with the criminal or civil legal system.
These services include obtaining and enforcing personal protection orders, pursuing divorce and child custody issues, other criminal matters as a result of the abuse.
If the client requests, legal advocates can accompany clients to court for support.
Legal advocates do not act as attorneys and do not provide legal advice.
They are able to discuss legal rights and processes with the survivors.
