What's not to be stressed about?
We are in the worst of economic times that most folks can remember.
Nearly half of my current caseload involves clients with some type of anxiety, from difficulty sleeping to full blown panic attacks.
Anxiety seems to be through the roof.
Yet not everybody is feeling stressed.
Amazingly, many folks who clearly have their backs against the wall seem to be calm, cool and collected - actually quite happy.

Are we helping or hindering clients by suggesting or prescribing the drugs?
This might sound like a strange introduction to the topic of weight management, but I believe it is very pertinent.
The First Law of Thermodynamics (Conservation) states that energy is always conserved, it cannot be created or destroyed.
In essence, energy can only be converted from one form into another.
Food provides the body with energy, which is measured in calories.
This energy cannot be created or destroyed.
When food (potential energy) enters the body, it is converted to other forms of energy.
