We all face pain and disappointment. Stuff happens - but what distresses one person barely bothers another person. A happy life depends more on your perception of the things that are happening around you than on the actual events themselves. Solution-focused therapy's premise is that the client has all the resources he or she needs to solve any problem life presents.

Other philosophies propose the same thing -with statements such as "The solution is contained within the problem". Solution Focused Counseling Services (SFCS) treats adolescents, adults, couples, family groups and geriatrics. We offer face to face and virtual psychotherapy sessions via Zoom. Therapeutic support groups are offered with a minimum attendance of three people.

Anger Management group sessions are offered monthly on the last Sunday of the month. Listed as a brief therapy, solution-focused therapy seeks to bring relief to most problems in one to six sessions.

Did you know that humans are, by nature, addictive creatures?
We are addicted easily - to TV, to other people, to pop-tarts, to running, to alcohol - to anything and everything that makes us feel good.
The difference between positive and negative addictions is the amount of true dysfunction it actually causes in your life.
Freedom from negative addictions does not lie in physical exertion, force, or pressure.
You will find your solution in understanding the way life works, clearing your mind, and finding your confidence and security.
Stress has become a part of our everyday vocabulary.
We help you, not to eliminate stress, but manage it.
Common mindsets and reactions like anger, depression, and anxiety are widespread because they do seem to work to manage this stress - at least short term.
You will learn to replace ineffective and self-harming responses with self-chosen, confident responses.
Concepts like 'tolerance of others' will be explored to empower you to make decisions that benefit you.
With practice you will be able to make the best of any situation.
