Ann Pocapalia was born and raised in Southern California, earned her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Nevada and completed her internship in Nutrition at UC Berkeley. After completing her education, Ann settled in the Bay Area to open a practice as a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator and has over 20 years of experience providing private nutrition counseling services to children, teenagers and adults.
Ann works with patients who have been referred by their internists, family practitioners, endocrinologists, pediatricians, gastroenterologists, and cardiologists to improve their health through therapeutic diets. She also developed a special weight management program for children, teenagers and adults. Ann's philosophy is whether you're trying to control your blood sugar or manage your weight, eating healthy should be enjoyable and simple enough to do for the rest of your life.
