Turning Point Counseling Center was founded in response to a great need for affordable, professional counseling services.
Many were looking for support for depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, addiction, marriage, and parenting-but they didn't know where they could go to feel safe and comfortable.
The struggle was that people weren't sure if a community mental health or inpatient facility was right for them.
The community shared that they wanted to feel like a person, not a number.
We heard so many stories of those who reached out who weren't able to be seen quickly when in need.
