Mission: Promote universal peace and unconditional love through healing brokenness one heart at a time. The creation of Healing Heart Center was inspired by a desire to continue to offer counseling services to those interested in a holistic approach to healing. The name is based on the premise that healing takes place in the heart center. We are also interested in healing the brokenness that takes place in the heart, the center of unconditional love and the foundation of ones identity and purpose in life.
Holistic healing includes the mind, body and spirit. These aspects of one's existence are inseparable and the interaction effects the overall health of the individual. We utilize techniques to assist in healing and balancing the thoughts of the mind, emotions in the body and the spirituality of our clients. Betty specializes in using hypnotherapy in her practice.
Betty has continued her own professional education and personal healing through regular participation in the Mentors Program at the Wellness Institute.

Betty McDivitt, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, received her Master of Social Work degree from the Indiana University School of Social Work, and has additional education in Pastoral Counseling at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana.
