Our mission at Counseling Network is to provide a caring, compassionate and safe environment where our clients are encouraged to learn about themselves, the choices they have made and the directions they wish to go. We seek to help our clients build upon their knowledge and strengths and to establish lasting foundations from which they change their own lives.

Our professional counselors hold a variety of certifications and are able to provide multiple treatment options meaning that you not only have an opportunity to, but are encouraged to participate in the development of your own learning and growth potential. We offer a convenient location and a thoughtful space where life challenges can be explored and solutions can be developed and achieved.

We specialize in blending conventional and alternative approaches and draw on a wide variety of techniques and a network of professions and qualified professionals to help you reach your goals.
Services
Treatment specializations include: Depression and Anxiety, PTSD / Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Family/Marriage Counseling, GLBT Issues, Work and Career issues, Self-Esteem/ Body Image, Stress Management, Addiction & Recovery and OCD / ADHD Supervision.
Karin earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University in 1995.
Completed her Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance at Texas A&M-Commerce in 1998 and obtained a Doctorate in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary in 2008.
Marie Garcia obtained her Bachelor of Science in Ministry & Leadership in 2007 at Dallas Christian College.
She completed a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at Tarleton State University.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
Marie worked for three years in the area of Domestic Violence serving, men, women, and children.
She has also worked at an inpatient adolescent rehab in Dallas.
While working there she also worked with the families of the teens in order for the family to understand addiction and how to better serve their teen once he or she returned home.
Susan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Oral Communications.
She has 15 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry and has experience developing and implementing fraud policies, procedures and training.
She is certified in employee interviewing, hiring, training and quality assurance of procedures and policies.
Susan joined Counseling Network Inc. in 2007 and is an integral part of our team.
Our Advisory Board is made up of a group of individuals who have been specially selected to work together voluntarily to solve problems and plan for the future resource needs of our community.
While we truly value and appreciate the input from all of the Advisory Board members, it is important to note that they do not have authority to vote on corporate matters and are thus not responsible for the daily functioning of Counseling Network, Inc.
Lee Harkins is one of the kindest and most amazing men we have ever met.
He is a retired Air Force officer, a retired University Dean, and a one-term Hill County Commissioner with 17 years residence in Hillsboro.
He and his wife, Jeri, have been active in the community, serving various boards, organizations and committees.
Lee and Jeri have first hand knowledge of the need for quality mental health treatment as well as services for families of those coping with mental illness.
They are wonderful advocates for the community.
