Services
For some, long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol or drugs may start after their first self-help meeting or with the first time they go to treatment.
But, like other chronic illnesses, recovery from addiction requires a life-long commitment to a program of change.
For some, relapse back to active use of alcohol or drugs may play a critical role in guiding them toward a rededication to their recovery.
Relapse can be a signal to get back on track, either by returning to meetings, treatment or adjusting the treatment approach.

GateWay Counseling Center receives state and federal tax dollars that help in paying for some of the services of our clients.
However, these funds do not cover all programs or the entire cost of all services.
We depend on collecting fees in order to continue to provide quality services to the citizens of Laurens County.
No one will be denied services due to their inability to pay, but we may have to restrict services for those who are able but are not willing to pay.
When you first enter services, you will meet with our Finance department to go over our fees, determine what fees you will be responsible for, and arrange for a very flexible and interest free payment schedule.
