Our outpatient therapy/counseling program offer individual, family, or group therapy based on the individual's specific need and eligibility. Community Counseling Center's mission is to provide comprehensive behavioral health and prevention services to every person in need in our five-county region. Our vision is to create a behavioral healthcare system that is capable of upholding, supporting, and maintaining recovery of our patients.

Services
Community Counseling Center Foundation was formed in 1984, as an independent 501(c)3 not-for-profit entity to cultivate relationships and build awareness within our five-county region in order to generate financial and other resources that support the Center's capacity to save lives and promote mental wellbeing.
The Center has an exceptional tradition of supporting individuals living with serious mental illnesses such as psychosis, depression, anxiety, and also those with addictions or co-occurring mental health and addiction problems.

We appreciate and respect the diversity and cultural differences of our patients and take into account the many multidimensional aspects of their lives.
We strive to provide services that reflect the context of patients' health-related behaviors and needs, and to do so in a sensitive and caring manner.
The Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) of the Community Counseling Center (CCC) meets monthly for the purpose of providing input for the Center's service delivery and to develop initiatives that promote awareness regarding the stigma associated with mental illness.
CAB advises, plans, monitors and advocates on behalf of consumers of service.
Any CCC consumer of service or family member is eligible for membership.
The Board meets monthly and is open to all CCC consumers.
Attendees may address the Board regarding any issue involving the delivery of service or any issue effecting their health or well being.
Community Counseling Center strives to make services available to everyone in need.
We accept insurance, and are a designated provider for many employee assistance programs and managed care providers.
Medicare and Medicaid are also accepted for covered services for residents of our service area Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Madison, Perry, and Ste.
Genevieve Counties.
Any portion of the fee not covered by a third party payor will be determined on a sliding fee scale based on household income.

Community Counseling Center's Governing Board is composed of 15 business leaders, professionals, representatives of local mental health authorities and private individuals representing each of the communities served.
The Governing Board ensures that Community Counseling Center activities, programs and services achieve the established purposes and outcomes for persons served and other stakeholders.
The Board establishes primary policy for the Center's operation and ensures that the organization is managed effectively, efficiently and ethically.
