DUI & Addiction Counseling Center provides Early Intervention DUI services and Faith Based Psychotherapy services to Lake and surrounding counties* in a personal, confidential setting that will enhance positive growth and development. We don't claim to have all the answers, but what we do possess is an empathetic ear, understanding heart, knowledge of the system, and a passion for addiction counseling.

Barry holds a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from North Park University, Chicago, Illinois and is a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) licensed with IAODPCA (Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association, Inc.) since 2007.

Services
If you have been arrested for a DUI, underage possession of alcohol, public intoxication, received a drinking ticket or possession of an illegal drug, you will be court ordered to complete a drug/alcohol evaluation.
IT IS YOUR CHOICE to be proactive and choose your own SUPR Licensed Evaluator* and treatment provider, or you can wait until the judge orders you where to go.
Our Evaluations/Assessments and treatment programs are accepted by all courts nationwide.*
An individual may be initially evaluated in the Minimal, Moderate, Significant, or High Risk Category, or ASAM 0.5/I based on previous driving records, drinking patterns, and psychological factors.

Aftercare can occur in a variety of settings, such as periodic outpatient aftercare, relapse/recovery groups, 12-Step and self-help groups, and halfway houses.

It is recommended that your alcohol/drug evaluation is completed prior to attending any court appearances; not to mention, you will be proactive and compliant with the court system.
