Services
I have been working in the field of mental health since 1997 when I started working for a community mental health center in Hays, KS.
I continued to work for the same mental health center until moving to Franklin, NE in 2009 when I took a job with Kearney Public Schools as a School Social Worker.
During the course of my career I have gained experience working with all age groups on a variety of issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD and other behavior disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, enhancing parent child relationships, marriage and family therapy and assistance with issues of adjustment to changes in life.

Center Creek Counseling includes Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) as an option.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy incorporates horses experientially for emotional growth and learning.
It is a collaborative effort between a licensed therapist and a horse professional working with people and horses to address treatment goals.
Because of its intensity and effectiveness, it is considered a short-term, or "brief" approach.
Individuals learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with horses and then discussing feelings, behaviors and patterns.
