My name is April Hill and I am the owner of North Augusta Counseling Services, LLC. I have been in private practice for 5 years and counseling clients since 2012. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio. I am a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
I am also a member of EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), and the South Carolina Counseling Association. I hold a BS in Psychology and an MA in Professional Counseling, both received at Liberty University. My areas of training and expertise include: EMDR, trauma informed care, psychological interpretation, cognitive behavioral approaches, mindfulness, projection techniques, spiritual approaches, and coping skills.
I have experience helping people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), grief, depression, and anxiety. I have 9 years' experience working in community mental health helping individuals diagnosed with a wide range of mental illness within both the criminal and general population.
