Pathways Counseling & Growth Center Focuses Upon Helping People to Heal & Grow in Mind, Body & Spirit. Pathways is still open and offering services via video and phone conference. Our Administrative Business hours have been changed so please leave a message if you need services or have questions. Most insurance companies are covering the tele-medicine services, and qualified clients are encouraged to apply for the sliding scale program for co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurances.

Pathways Counseling & Growth Center provides body, mind and spirit-centered psychological counseling services so that individuals, couples and families can develop their full potential.
Pathways Counseling & Growth Center provides community education and consultation to other professionals.
Pathways has been a member of the Lorain County Board of Mental Health since 2002 and works in collaboration with other community services.
Pathways gives consumers the option of having their spiritual values included in their counseling.

Offices were first located in rented space at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Elyria.
The Center had three-year start-up funds of $30,000.00 from the Nord Foundation and the Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County.
In 1988, the Center moved to larger offices in rented space at First United Methodist Church, Elyria.
In 2001, marking our 20th anniversary, the agency changed its name to Pathways Counseling & Growth Center and disaffiliated from the Samaritan Institute.
In 2002, Pathways was awarded its first annual contract with the Lorain County Board of Mental Health.
The Center had three-year start-up funds of $30,000.00 from the Nord Foundation and the Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County.

Ruthie Lasecki has more than 20 years of experience specializing in healthcare management, quality assurance and compliance and healthcare consultation in behavioral and ancillary healthcare services.
In her most recent role Ms. Lasecki provided services to clients nationwide with various healthcare needs ranging from organizational management, accreditation and service delivery diversification as she served as the president of a healthcare specialty firm she founded in 2002.
Prior to her consulting business, Ms. Lasecki served as the Vice President of Total Quality Management and Continuous Quality Improvement for The Nord Center and was a member of the Executive Team.
